Traditional Newar Buddhist Monastery (Vihara). One of the 18 Main Bahals (Mahavihara) of the Acarya Guthi (nep.) resp. Deacaguthi (new.) in Kathmandu acc. John K. Locke (1985). The Kumari of Kwa Bahal is the Inkarnation of Vajradeva, a Buddhist Goddess. It lies north of the Thahiti Square.
