Traditional Newar Buddhist Monastery (Vihara). One of the 23 Bahals resp. Bahils in Bhaktapur acc. John K. Locke (1985). The oldest Vihar in Bhaktapur, one of the 50 Buddhist Power Places acc. Keith Dowman. In this Bahal housed one of the Five Dipankara Buddhas of Bhaktapur.
